This kitchen renovation transformed an outdated space into a stylish and highly functional family kitchen, combining traditional character with modern practicality.

The project began with the removal of the existing wall tiles and extractor fan. The wall area was then professionally plastered to create a smooth, contemporary finish before a new extractor system was installed and the splashback areas were re-tiled.

To maximise value and retain some of the kitchen's original character, we carefully incorporated selected existing units into the new design while adding a range of bespoke features and additional storage solutions. These included new wall and base units, a traditional plate rack, pull-out wire baskets and internal pull-out drawer systems, creating a kitchen that offers both style and exceptional functionality.

A beautiful Belfast sink was installed as a focal point of the room, complemented by solid wood worktops and a bespoke breakfast bar area. Additional features included a dedicated wine storage unit, integrated oven, hob and extractor, along with space for a washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer.

To complete the traditional look, we fitted classic cup handles and decorative knobs throughout the kitchen, adding character and timeless appeal. The project was finished with new laminate flooring, bringing warmth, durability and a cohesive finish to the entire space.

The completed renovation successfully blended traditional design elements with practical modern features, creating a welcoming kitchen that offers increased storage, improved workflow and a timeless aesthetic for everyday family living.
